Questions about our juice cleanses?

We recommend using the few days leading up to your cleanse to prepare your body for this invigorating change. You should phase out processed foods, gluten, dairy, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, and red meat and replace with green salads, fresh fruits and nuts.

It is recommended that the day before you start your cleanse, you try and limit yourself to a combination of green salads, steamed veggies, and low sodium broths.

Our juices are alive, raw and are not artificially preserved in any way.
This means that they must be kept refrigerated. Our cold-pressed juices last for around 4 days, and our citrus mixes for 7 days.

Look for the date sticker on the top of your bottle— the juice should be good through the end of that day.

If you feel really hungry, munch on some raw veggies – the darker the green, the better. For example, lettuce, cucumber, or celery are good options. Chew these thoroughly to minimize required digestion.

One of the benefits of a juice cleanse is that it gives your body the opportunity to take a break from the daily work of digesting processed foods and allows your system to then
flush out toxins from your system.

Our cleanses are designed to flood you with all of the nutrients your body needs, and our goal is to offer you as rewarding an experience as possible.

While many people experience few (if any) symptoms during a cleanse, you are making a major change to your regular diet, so some side effects can occur and usually resolve themselves during or after the cleanse. Reported side effects include slight nausea, dry mouth, muscle aches and/or headaches. Feeling cold can also occur as your calorie and fat intake has dropped. You can add a layer of clothing or sip on a hot warming tea—we recommend a natural ginger tea. If you do experience detoxification symptoms, remind yourself that you are feeling the effects of toxins as they leave your body—and bid them goodbye! You will feel better on the other side. Drinking plenty of clean water and herbal teas will help. As well, thoughtfully easing into your cleanse will help reduce some, if not all, of these side effects.

And feel free to contact us at anytime with questions or if you need some help motivating! We love hearing from you! Post-cleanse side effects include increased energy, better digestion, boosted immunity, mental clarity, clear skin and happiness!

Exercise lightly to promote blood circulation; try deep breathing and gentle cardio. In addition, we have designed a cleanse to support those who want to remain slightly more active while cleansing - the Rejuice Active cleanse. Regardless of the cleanse you choose, you may find that you have a great deal of energy, but be careful not to overdo it. We recommend doing yoga while cleansing; deep breathing contributes to the elimination of toxins.

You should ease out of your cleanse in the same way that you eased into it. That means keeping processed foods, refined flour and sugar, alcohol, caffeine, dairy and meat out of your diet for at least the first few days (or as long as possible), and prioritizing vegetables, fruit, whole grains and nuts. Use dressings that contain apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and organic virgin olive oil.

Your first few meals should be small and easy to digest, such as a smoothie for breakfast, a light salad or a vegetable soup for lunch, and steamed vegetables with some quinoa or brown rice for dinner. Eat slowly, and chew carefully. Drink lots of water, and continue drinking one to three juices per day. Take your cleanse as an opportunity to discard destructive old habits and form healthier ones. You’ll feel better for it.
